Returns & Refunds

Although highly unlikely, there may be times when you will need to return a product purchased from us or from an authorised Bambeano Stockist. Maybe you have doubled up on the same item as someone else for a baby shower gift?! Our Returns Policy is designed to assist you with your return. The benefits given by our Returns Policy are in addition to other rights and remedies you may have as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law.

What is the Limited Bambeano Warranty?

You are entitled to a replacement, credit or refund where products have a major failure, such as:
  •   When it is faulty
  •   Wrongly described
  •   Different from a sample shown to you; or
  •   Do not do what they are supposed to do


We are not able to offer a refund for beans, as they are purchased by us through a 3rd party entity and delivered to you through them.

In some cases a refund, replacement or repair may not be offered if you:

  •   Substantially modify the product; 
  •   Misuse the product contrary to user instructions or packaging labels; or
  •   Simply change your mind.

Exchanges (change of mind)

We are not required to replace your product if you simply change your mind.  However, if you are not happy with your product, we may, at our discretion, decide to exchange it providing the product is returned to us in its original saleable condition and with proof of purchase. Exchanges will be for same item or another to the same value. Any extra costs for a more expensive choice by you will be at your expense. If you are unsatisfied with a product or the service you have received from a Bambeano stockist, please contact them direct. If purchased through the website, email us here.


Any expenses relating to the return of your product to a physical store will have to be paid by you. For online store purchases only, we will pay for return freight for any product assessed as having a major defect.

Warranty Coverage

Bambeano limited warranty lasts for 12 months from date of purchase.

How to Initiate a Claim for Purchases made online at

If you have made your purchase from our online store at, you may request to return your product using our Email Us page. Simply enter in your contact details and add your order number in the comment box. Also include a note telling us why you would like to return your order. Once we receive your email, a staff member will contact you within 48hours with further instructions.

What is required from you when returning a product.
The return item is your responsibility until it reaches our facility. We highly reccomend that you securly pack the item and register the return so it can be tracked. You must also include the delivery receipt which will be refunded to you upon approval if the claim is accepted.

Where a refund is to be made for order placed online at, we will credit the account from which the original payment was debited. Refunds may take up to 5 business days to appear in to your account after a refund has been approved.

How to Initiate a Claim for Purchases made through a Bambeano Stockist

If you have made a purchase through an authorised Bambeano stockist, you must return your product to the store you made the purchase from. For warranty claims you may want to contact us directly using our Email Us page to initiate a warranty claim, but you will still be required to return to the store with your purchase. If contacting us direct, simply enter in your contact details and add a note telling us why you would like to return your order. Once we receive your message, a staff member will  contact with you within 48hours with further instructions.

We highly recommend you process your warranty claim through the store you made the purchase from to avoid delays.

What information is needed for a warranty claim?
For speediest outcome, it’s best to take along with you to the store: 

  •   A receipt or other proof of purchase (e.g. bank statement / transaction history).
  •   Try to return the product in the same condition as it was purchased (including manuals, accessories and packaging).
  •   Provide any extra information the store may need to process your return.
